Common faults of air compressors
1. Unable to start
The fuse is blown; the voltage is too low, the power supply phase is missing, or the circuit is in poor contact; the starting electrical appliance is faulty, and the starting button is in poor contact;
The main motor fails; the main engine fails; the fan motor is overloaded;
2. High exhaust temperature
Air compressor lubricating oil is insufficient; oil cooler is dirty; oil filter element is blocked; temperature control valve is faulty; oil-cut solenoid valve is not energized, coil is damaged, diaphragm is aging or ruptured, etc.; temperature sensor failure; fan motor failure, cooling fan damage , or the ambient temperature is too high.
3. Large fuel consumption
There is too much lubricating oil in the air compressor, the oil is not good or it is used over time; the oil return pipe is blocked, and the installation of the oil return pipe is improper; the oil and gas separator filter element is broken, and the internal partition of the separation cylinder is damaged; the unit has oil leakage and oil seepage. The unit pressure is low: the actual gas consumption is greater than the unit gas production; the intake valve is faulty;
The air release valve is faulty and cannot be closed when loading; the pressure setting is too low, the pressure sensor is faulty, the pressure gauge is faulty, the pressure switch is faulty, and the pressure sensor or the pressure gauge input hose is leaking;
Precautions
1. The air compressor should be parked in a place away from steam, gas and dust. The intake pipe should be equipped with a filter device. After the air compressor is in place, it should be wedged symmetrically with spacers.
2. Always keep the outside of the storage tank clean. Welding or hot working near the gas tank is prohibited. The air storage tank should be hydraulically tested once a year, and the test pressure should be 1.5 times the working pressure. The air pressure gauge and safety valve should be inspected once a year.
3. Operators should be specially trained, must fully understand the structure, performance and function of air compressors and auxiliary equipment, and be familiar with operation and maintenance procedures.
4. Operators should wear work clothes, and lesbians should stuff their hair braids into their work caps. It is strictly forbidden to operate after drinking, not to engage in anything unrelated to the operation, not to leave the work post without authorization, and not to decide without authorization that a non-local operator will replace the work.
